Florence M. Fritz

April 24, 1910 - Dec. 21, 2002

Florence M. Fritz, 92, formerly of Elmwood Assisted Living in Green Springs, died 
Saturday at Bethesda Care Center.

She was born in Seneca County's Adam Township to Orrin A. and Edna L. (McNutt) 
Miller and graduated with the class of 1928 at Green Springs High School. She 
married George W. Fritz on July 20, 1931, in Fort Wayne, Ind. He died Dec. 30, 1993. 

Mrs. Fritz attended Grace Brethren Church in Fremont. She was a former member of 
Grace Lutheran Church in Fremont and its Altar Guild. A homemaker, she enjoyed 
gardening and was a member of 4-H.

She is survived by son Rev. Geraland L. Fritz of Fremont; daughter Loretta M. Wise of 
Old Fort; eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and three great-great-
grandchildren; and stepbrother Dale Shimer of Fremont. In addition to her husband 
and parents, she is preceded by son Orrin B. Fritz, a grandchild, sisters Inez Barrick 
and Lela Rogers and a stepsister.

Visitation: 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Engle-Young Funeral Home, Green Springs.

Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Ward J. Tressler officiating.

Burial: Green Springs Cemetery.

Memorials: Grace Community Church or donor's choice.
