Robert Burnside Maule, 87, of Fremont, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2015, at 
Mercy Tiffin Hospital.

He was born Jan. 29, 1928, in Fremont, the son of John H. and Ruth E. (Burnside) 
Maule. He was a 1946 graduate of Fremont Ross High School.

Robert served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was awarded the World War 
II Victory Medal and Army of Occupation Medal (Japan). He worked at the quarry in 
Gibsonburg and at Eveready Battery, Fremont. Robert was a member of Hayes 
Memorial United Methodist Church and enjoyed bird watching and gardening.
Robert is survived by his cousin, Richard (Nancy) Burnside of Tiffin, and many other 
cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, John W. Maule.

Private services took place for the family.
