AVIS LOUISE DEBOWSKI, age 85, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ 
on Saturday, September 12th, 2009. Louise, as she was known to her family and 
friends, was born in Beaver Crossing, Nebraska on October 13th, 1923. Her family 
moved to Fort Collins, Colorado during her teenage years. Upon graduating from Fort 
Collins High School, she moved to San Francisco, where she met her life-partner and 
husband, Robert Charles Debowski, to whom she was married for 62 years. She is 
survived by sons Robert C. Debowski and wife Debbie; and John C. Debowski and 
wife Debbie; granddaughters Jennifer Lynn Rosado and Angela Kristine Cousin and 
husband Andrew; grandson John C. Debowski Jr. and wife Chrystal; great-
grandchildren Erika Rosado; Dillon and Emily Henn and Chloe Cousin; Colton 
Debowski and Brett Lewis; brother-in-law Eddie Debowski and wife Margie, sister-in-
law Helen Carothers, her loving caregiver Brenda Coleman, and numerous nieces and 
nephews. A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 16, 
2009, with a viewing beginning at 2:00 p.m., at Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home, 6700 
Ferris St. Bellaire.
