HALE Mary Frances Hale, 94, a resident of Jacksonville for most of her life passed 
away on January 29, 2016 at her sons home in Simpsonville, South Carolina, She was 
born on March 12, 1921 in Abbeville, Georgia to the late Jennings Bryan and Ola Keen 
Standridge. Mrs. Hale was a founding member of West Meadows Baptist Church, She 
enjoyed gardening and flowers and loved writing and receiving letters. She was 
preceded in death by her husband of 51' years, Milton W. Hale, daughter, Sandra 
Hale Burkhart, sister, Lynn Maloy Hall and brother and his wife Vernon and Hazel 
Standridge. Survivors include her son, Morton Hale (Pam), brothers, Bryan Standridge 
Jr. (Betty) and Bill Standridge (Ann), grandchildren, Branyn Burkhart (Ashli), Justyn 
Burkhart (Shannon), Ashley Coppins (Jeff), Amber Antel (Brian) Allyson Hale, and 11 
great grandchildren. A Celebration of Mrs. Hale's life will be held on Saturday, 
February 6, 2016 at 11:00 AM at West Meadows Baptist Church, 11711 Normandy 
Boulevard, with Dr. Bruce Armstrong officiating. The family will receive friends on 
Friday, February 5, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at FRASER FUNERAL HOME 8168
