REXFORD, N.Y. -- John F. Webber, 87, of Coburg Village Way, died March 30, 2009, 
at Community Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital.

He was born in Winchendon, Mass., Nov. 21, 1921, to Thaddeus and Rose 
(McGowan) Webber.

He was a graduate of the University of Massachusetts. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps 
veteran of World War II.

He was employed as a mechanical engineer at General Electric in Lynn, Mass., for 
more than 20 years, and at the State of New Hampshire Division of Economic 
Development for 12 years. Before he retired several years ago, he was employed as a 
real estate agent in Gilford, N.H.

He was devoted to his family and enjoyed spending time with them and his 
grandchildren. He also enjoyed reading, drawing, painting, traveling, and history. He 
was an avid Boston Red Sox fan.

Family members include his wife, June Nordine Webber; two sons, James Webber of 
Manchester, N.H., and John Michael Webber of New York City; one daughter, Mary 
Duclos of Clifton Park; one brother, William Webber of Ashburnham, Mass.; four 
sisters, Helena Tetreault of Walpole, Mass., Terry Mulcahy of Neptune Beach, Fla., 
Jane Webber of Winchendon, Mass., and Agatha Thompson of Connecticut; four 
grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

SERVICES: A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday at 9 a.m. in St. Mary 
Church, 86 Churchill Road, Waterford. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be in 
Calvary Cemetery, Winchendon, Mass.

Memorial donations may be made to Community Hospice Inn, 315 S. Manning Blvd., 
Albany, NY 12208.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Route 
9, Clifton Park.
