OCALA - Edgar J. Webber Sr., 86, a retired owner and operator of a Certified Public 
Accounting firm, died Sunday, Aug. 28, 2005, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.
A native of Montville, Conn., he moved here from Fort Lauderdale in 1980. Mr. Webber 
was a Catholic, and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, American Legion and 
Veterans of Foreign Wars. He is a U.S. Air Force veteran, who served from 1943 to 
1948, and was a recipient of the Bronze Star.
Survivors include, his wife of 51 years, Dorothy A. Webber, Ocala; daughters, Edith 
Webber, Dunnellon, Cindy Teeter, Ocala, Debra Foley, Rome, Ga., and Peggy Taylor, 
Sanford; son, Edgar Webber Jr., Ocala; stepbrother, Robert Webber, New York; 
stepsister, Patricia Schwartz, Massachusetts; 11 grandchildren; and five great-
grandchildren.
