ELVIS ''JACK'' L. ASHBY, 80, of Arvada died June 28. Services were private. Mr. 
Ashby was born in Pike County, Ind., on April 8, 1919. He married Thelma Ruth Amos, 
1995. He served in the Army during World War II. He was a retired RTD bus driver. He 
was a member of the Shriners, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Masons. Survivors 
include his wife; son Gary of Aurora; stepdaughters Sandra Seals of Arvada, Joanne 
Seals of Adams County; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
