Samuel Bryan Cropley, 69, passed away Feb. 5, 2005. 

 Mr. Cropley was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., and resided in Cuyahoga Falls for over 65 
years, graduating from Cuyahoga Falls High School. He served in the U.S. Marines 
during the Korean War, and worked for the Cuyahoga Falls Fire Department. He was a 
member of the Cuyahoga Falls Moose Lodge 918 and the V.F.W. Bob Appleman Post 
3259. 

 Preceded in death by his mother, Josephine Cropley; aunt, Mabel McGowan; uncle, 
William Reid; cousins, Marilyn Penn and William "Ike'' Reid, he is survived by his son, 
Bryan (Cheryl) Cropley of Akron; daughters, Meegan Cropley and Sioubhan (Mike) 
Tolochko, both of Burbank, Calif.; grandchildren, Issac, Nick, Lou, Samantha, and 
Kyle; brother, Bill (Carol) Cropley of Florida; cousins, Sandra (Frank) Santos, Jeff 
(Barb) Reid, Mary (Bill) McCarthy, Bob (Susan) Reid, Mark (Alice) Cropley; many 
nieces, nephews, cousins, friends; and special friend, Marlene Baker. 

 Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 
1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, where a funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. 
Friday, Rev. Susan Lausch officiating. A Last Alarm Service will be conducted at 7 
p.m. Thursday. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery. Military services by American Legion 
Charles Faust Post 281. The family suggests donations to Falls Firefighters and 
Community Society, P.O. Box 189, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44221, in his memory.
