PATRICIA "PAT" L. ANDERSON, 75, died Sunday, Aug. 26, 2007, at Select Specialty 
Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born in Wauke-gan, Ill., she was a registered nurse with St. 
Joseph Hospital for 12 years and also worked at Visiting Nurse Service, V.A. Hospital, 
Public Health Nurse for Allen County and Lutheran Hospital. She graduated from 
Columbia City High School and received her R.N. from Purdue and B.S.N. from Saint 
Francis. She enjoyed spending time with friends. Survivors include sons, Dr. Drew 
(Staci) Anderson of Muncie and David Anderson of Fort Wayne; granddaughters, 
Vanessa, Olivia and Julianna Anderson, all of Muncie; and very special friends, Ivan 
and Jackie Detwiler of Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by her parents, David 
and Ethel "Peg" Porter. Service is 11 a.m. Thursday at D.O. McComb & Sons Foster 
Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Ave., with calling one hour prior. Gregg Parris 
officiating. Calling also from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial in Riverview 
Cemetery. Memorials to Cancer Services of N.E. Indiana, 2925 E. State Blvd., Ft. 
Wayne, IN 46805.
