Helen Carter Zobell was born October 22, 1926 to Vern E. and Maude Pierce Carter in 
Edgemont, Utah. Helen returned to the loving arms of our Heavenly Father on 
February 27, 2010. 

 Helen attended Franklin Elementary School in Provo, she also attended Dixon Junior 
High where she played the viola and sang in the choir, she graduated from Provo high 
School. During this time she also worked at Elliott's Cafe and later at Geneva Steel 
Company as a secretary. On July 25, 1943 she married James Martin Boulton in 
Layton, Utah. Shortly after their marriage they moved to San Francisco to "Hunters 
Point" Naval drydock during World War II. In 1944 they moved back to Lakeview, 
Utah where they built a home and raised their four children, they were later divorced. 
Helen was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, she 
served graciously in many callings throughout her life. 

 In 1972 Helen married DelRoy H. Zobell in Kuaii, Hawaii at the Kapaa LDS Chapel. 
Their marriage was later solemnized in the Provo Temple. Del and Helen both worked 
many years in real estate and loved to travel and enjoyed being snowbirds for many 
years in Bullhead City, AZ. She was a loving and attentive mother, grandmother and 
friend. 

 Helen is survived by her four children: Diane (Kay) Cutler, David (Sherri) Boulton, 
James Michael (Billie) Boulton and Clark Raymond (Jody) Boulton. She is also survived 
by 20 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-
grandchildren as well as her brothers and sisters; Garn V. (LeNore) Carter, LaVern C. 
Hancock, Betty J. (Lee) Johnson, Orvil P. Carter and Darwin V. (Clara) Carter. She 
was preceded in death by her husband DelRoy and her grandson Jami Cutler. 

 Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the 
Cascade Chapel at Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 South State St., Orem. Friends may 
call Tuesday from 6 to 7:30 at the funeral home and also Wednesday one hour prior to 
the services. Interment will be in the Orem City Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to
