Eric Benson Long, 31, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2005, after a 
courageous battle with cancer. He was born January 19, 1974, in Provo, Utah, to 
Elmer and Tammie Long. Eric married Laura Bingham, and they were later divorced. 
Eric and Laura remained good friends. 

 He attended Pleasant Grove High School and was attending Eastern Idaho Technical 
College. Eric would have graduated this year as a Journeyman Electrician. 

 Eric loved to hunt, fish, camp, and ride his motorcycle. Eric was a great chef and ran 
his own diner in Idaho. He especially loved his daughter and his family. He also loved 
living in Idaho. 

 Eric is survived by his daughter, Kylee Jean Long, Pleasant Grove; mother, Tammie J. 
Long, Pleasant Grove; father, Elmer B. Long, Pleasant Grove; brother and best friend, 
David (Sylvia) Long, Idaho; loving sister, Jana J. (Jason) Jacobs, Pleasant Grove; 
grandmothers: Verda Pierce, American Fork; Alice Long, Vernal; and Glenna Luce, 
Idaho; three nephews and one niece. 

 Graveside services will be held Tuesday, September 27. 2005, at 2 p.m., in the 
Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the Olpin 
Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove.
