Philip Raymond Adrian, beloved Husband, Father, and Grandfather passed into the 
Lord's hands on January 2, 2011. He was born June 9, 1924 to Arthur and Marie 
Adrian. Phil was a lifelong resident of Escalon, California. After graduating from 
Escalon High School as class valedictorian, he vigorously pursued success as a 
peach, almond, and walnut farmer. 

 Phil is survived by Mary, his loving wife of 54 years, and two children: Cindy (Jon) 
Murphy and Marty (Diana) Adrian. Grandchildren are Tracy and Daniel Murphy, and 
Joseph and Thomas Adrian. Phil was predeceased by three siblings: Dorothy, Arthur, 
and Paul. Surviving siblings are Lydia, Frank, and Ruth. 

 Phil was an active member of Saron Lutheran Church, serving in many capacities of 
the church community. He was a man of great integrity and determination, who took 
great pride in his family and work. We will miss him dearly. 

 A memorial service to celebrate Phil's life will be held at Saron Lutheran Church in 
Escalon at 11:00 on Thursday January 6, 2011.
