Marvie Asplund passed away peacefully on June 12th, aged 93. She was born in 
Everett, WA, spent her school years in Aberdeen, and then settled in Seattle where 
she married Gus Asplund, her husband of 60 years. Favorite times were spent in 
Laurelhurst with their daughters, Karin Perring and Jani Myhre. She leaves them and 
two grandsons, Kevin and Daniel Myhre. Marvie belonged to organizations that 
benefited Childrens Hospital, the UW Arboretum, and Ryther Child Foundation.
