KAY HOIER, 50, a homemaker, died March 28, 1994, at her Colorado Springs home. 

 A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Bethel Lutheran Church, 4925 
Farmingdale Drive, with the Rev. John Sorenson officiating. Cremation is planned. 
Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., is handling 
arrangements. 

 Mrs. Hoier was born Feb. 14, 1944, in Appleton, Wis., to Mark and Helen (McCoy) 
Catlin Jr. 

 She married Stephen B. Hoier on Oct. 22, 1966, in Appleton, who survives. 

 Mrs. Hoier also is survived by two sons, Trevor D. of Fort Collins and Donald M. of 
Las Vegas; a daughter, Traci R. of Colorado Springs; a brother, Mark Catlin III of 
Appleton; and a sister, Dianne Lang of Appleton. She was preceded in death by a 
son, Christopher, in 1981. 
 She had lived in Colorado Springs since 1980.
