Harry S. Kaul 1918-2008 Harry moved to Long Beach in 1991 to live with his oldest 
daughter, Ellen Kaul, after his wife of 50 years, Ann Catlin, passed away. He loved the 
weather, the beach and good friends, especially, Eleanor Carlson. Harry graduated fr 
om Northwestern Military Academy and University of Wisconsin, Madison (B.S. 
Economics, 1941), where he was a member of Phi Delta Theta. An Army major in 
World War II, he returned to his hometown, Markesan, Wisconsin and was president 
of the Markesan Canning Company until 1960. He was a food broker and an insurance 
agent in Glendale, WI before retiring to Lehigh Acres, FL in 1979. He belonged to the 
additionally survived by his son, Dean (Janet) Kaul, San Diego, CA; daughter, Barbara 
Kaul (David Cohen), Austin, TX; 6 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren. Service 
will be held on Saturday, April 19 at 4 pm at Bay Shore Community Congregational 
Church, 5100 The Toledo, Long Beach. In lieu of flowers, please contribute in Harry's
