Andy Charles Goyins, 50, of Helena, had his love for life and the great outdoors taken 
away on Feb. 28, 2007, after an extended illness.
He was born on Aug. 19, 1956, to Blair Goyins and Joann Morris King. He attended 
schools in Helena, Dillon and Lewistown.
He was an avid outdoorsman. Andy had a love for hunting, fishing, camping and riding 
horses. Growing up he had two ponies named Pee Wee and Rebel that he loved to 
ride.
He was a great saddle maker. He loved to work with his hands. He could take an 
ordinary piece of leather and turn it into a beautiful piece of art.
Andy was always the cowboy. During his young and adventurous days he loved being 
"Andy the Rodeo Clown." He loved being in the middle of the arena and the center of 
attention. He was the only man who could tell a dirty joke to a pastor and make him 
laugh. He could always pick on you and still bring out the best in you.
On July 7, 1995, he married the love his life, Susan Rene McCauley, here in Helena. 
They have three beautiful children, July, Krystal and Nickie. He has a beautiful 
daughter, Cally, from a previous marriage who shared his love of horses and the 
rodeo. Their most precious moments were those spent camping together.
He was a strong man who underwent an incredible journey the last year of his life. He 
wasn't a very big man but he had a big heart. He was always giving to others.
His real wealth in life came from his many close friendships and a large loving family. 
When he did things he always had to include not only his immediate family buy also his 
tremendous extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his uncle Cal.
He is survived by his wife, Susan; his son, July; his stepdaughters, Krystal Jerome 
(Jesse) and Nickie Johnston (Zach Raymond); his daughter, Cally; his brothers, Steve 
Hoy (Cindy), Mark Hoy (Ann), Mike Goyins (Amy), Vance Goyins and Pat Goyins (Kris) 
and many numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and
nephews.
He will be missed by his many friends and family.
Church services will be held at the First Presbyterian Church, Saturday, March 3, at 3 
p.m. Friends may begin to pay their respects beginning today at 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. and 
again on Saturday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Cremation will follow the services at 
Anderson Cremation Services here in Helena. In lieu of flowers, the family requests 
donations for medical costs in memory of Andy to the Rocky Mountain Credit Union, 
1820 11th Ave., Helena, MT 59601. Hagler-Anderson Funeral Home was entrusted 
with local arrangements.
