 Paul Nurge, an attorney who retired in 1993, died in Denver of Parkinson's disease. 
He was 72. 

 The native of Cliffside Park, N.J., lived in Orinda before moving to Denver two years 
ago. He served in the Army and attended Valparaiso University and Shiloh Bible 
College. He enjoyed church and chess. 

 He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Anne; daughters, Linda Winters of Danville, 
Sandra Gourley of Denver and Wendy Loder of San Rafael; sons, Edward Nurge of 
Denver and Michael Nurge of San Francisco; sister, Lee Michaels of New Jersey; 
brothers, Conrad Nurge of Connecticut and Donald Nurge of New Jersey; and five 
grandchildren. 
 Services: Private. Arrangements by All Veterans Burial-Cremation, Wheat Ridge, Colo. 
 Memorial gifts: To charity.
