Gene and Flora were both in the Peace Corps. Gene was a Radio and TV Producer in 
Cincinnati, Ohio, and in New York, New York. Flora is a musician. Gene and Flora 
have done much traveling worldwide. One of Gene's first travels was in 1921, when he 
drove his grandfather Sid Bassett to North Texas, Kansas City, Missouri and to Marion 
County, Illinois to visit his brothers, Elmer and "Lafe". Elmer lived in the old home 
place. They made the trip in a Model A.
