Lucille F. Scott of Carlyle died Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at Palms of Pasadena 
Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida at the age of 79 years. She was born in Belleville, 
Illinois on July 13, 1930 the daughter of Frank and Dorothy (Huene) Gebke. Lucille 
married Charles Glenn Scott on November 27, 1947 at St. Anthony Church in 
Beckemeyer and he preceded her in death on February 12, 2001.Lucille is survived by 
a daughter: Sandra Rakers and husband Steve of Carlyle; three sons: Terry Scott and 
wife Nancee of Breese, Randy Scott of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and Gary Scott and 
wife Julia of Trenton; a sister: Sharon Schewe and husband John of Carlyle; a brother: 
Jerry Gebke and wife JoAnn of Carlyle; grandchildren: Lori Ziegler and husband 
Michael, Neil Scott and wife Susan, Jerry Scott and Cara Scott; step grandchildren: 
Clinton Gebke and wife Megan and Jennifer Kuhl and husband Brian; five great 
grandchildren; and her faithful pet: Savannah.Lucille was a member of St. Mary 
Church in Carlyle. Mrs. Scott enjoyed being with her family and friends and camping.A 
Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Mary Church in Carlyle on Wednesday, August 
12, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. with Fr. George Mauck officiating.
The interment will follow at Carlyle Cemetery.Friends may visit with the family at the 
Frerker Funeral Home in Carlyle on Tuesday from 5 to 8:00 P.M. or on Wednesday 
from 8 to 10:30 A.M.Expressions of sympathy are suggested to the Back Stoppers or 
to Hospice and those will be received at the Frerker Funeral Home which is serving 
the family.
