Beverly D. Porter, age 78, passed away peacefully, Sunday, July 23, 2017 at F.F. 
Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua.

Beverly was born March 2, 1939 in Prattsburgh, a daughter of Millard & Velma 
(Towner) Drake. She was a 1959 graduate of Naples Central School. She was a 
retired bus driver for Naples Central School. Bev was predeceased by her parents; the 
father of her sons, Robert M. Porter; and three brothers, Erwin, Lewis & Loris Drake.

She was a dedicated member of her high school class; they met monthly and Bev 
enjoyed seeing her friends regularly. Bev was an avid deer and turkey hunter, she also 
enjoyed fishing, doing crossword and Suduko, pecan and strawberry pie, but most of 
all she was outgoing and loved meeting and talking to friends, neighbors and 
especially her family.

Bev is survived by 2 sons, 1 granddaughter, 2 step granddaughters, 8 step-great 
grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call 11am-1 pm Sunday at the Baird – Moore Funeral Home, 154 S. Main 
St., Naples.
