Gerald "Jerry" R. Enszer Gerald "Jerry" R. Enszer, 67 of Midland, passed away 
Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2005, at his home, after a valiant fight against leukemia. He was 
born on Nov. 11, 1937, in Saginaw, the son of John and Gertrude "Miriam" (Whitney) 
Enszer. Jerry graduated from Arthur Hill High School and then served with the U.S. Air 
Force from 1958 to 1965. On Nov. 1, 1980, he married the former Margaret Gorzenski 
in Saginaw. He had worked at the Typewriter Exchange before beginning his career at 
the City of Midland. Jerry retired from the Water Treatment Plant in 1993 after 27 years 
Surviving in addition to his wife Margaret are his three sons, Rick (Ann) Enszer, Mark 
(Lori) Enszer and Joel Forristall and his fiancee Melissa Lentner, all of Midland; his 
grandchildren, Aaron, Alissa, Alex, Jacob, Seth, Autumn Enszer and Grant Lentner; his 
and his two sisters Joanne Timm of Saginaw and Phyllis (John) Tallon of Alanson. 
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, 2005, at Blessed 
Sacrament Catholic Church, 3109 Swede Ave. The Rev. Father Peter J. Gaspeny will 
officiate, with burial in New Calvary Cemetery. Full military honors will be presented by 
the Midland Area Veterans. Friends may call at the Ware-Smith-Woolever Funeral 
Home, 1200 W. Wheeler St. today from 6-8 p.m., Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and at the 
church on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass. A Christian Vigil Service will 
take place at the funeral home 7 p.m. Friday. Those planning an expression of 
sympathy may wish to consider the American Cancer Society - Research. If you are
