Rachel Marie Repp, 72, of Tiffin, passed away Friday morning, Sept. 7, 2007,
at her home, following a brief illness.

On March 18, 1935, she was born in Tiffin to the late John and Thora
(McGowan) Bland. She married James L. "Jim" Repp on Sept. 14, 1957, in St.
Mary Catholic Church in Tiffin.

Survivors include her husband, Jim, of 49 years; a son, Mark (Laurie) Repp
of Tiffin; a daughter, Ann Repp of Chicago; three sisters, Patricia (Jerry)
Sauber of North Carolina, Georgianna Widmer of Fostoria and Kathleen Malling
of Tiffin; and three grandchildren, Owen, Katie and Rachel Repp of Tiffin.

Rachel was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and a graduate of Calvert
High School class of 1953. She graduated from Bowling Green State University
and received her Master of Education from Ashland University. She taught
first grade at Clinton Elementary School for 30 years, retiring in 1996. Her
commitment to education and children continued as a substitute teacher until
2006. 

She was a member of Seneca County Retired Teachers Association and was very
active and social, keeping busy bowling, crocheting, gardening and sewing.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and made many friends
throughout her lifetime. Rachel and Jim cherished their time together,
spending many winters in Florida.

A Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2007, at St.
Mary Catholic Church, with the Rev. David Ross officiating. A rosary will be
prayed 15 minutes prior to the Mass. Burial will be at a later date.

Friends may visit with the family 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2007, at
Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, OH
44883, (419) 447-2424.

Memorial contributions can be made to Community Hospice Care, American
Cancer Society or a charity of the donor's choice.
