Joyce Ann Hewitt
Evansville, Indiana
Joyce Ann Hewitt, 88, of Evansville, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2015, at Good 
Samaritan Home. She was born October 18, 1926, in Evansville, to the late William 
and Adah (Howland) Holder.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Homemaker's Extension Club. She was 
also a member of Centenary United Methodist Church and Evansville Kennel Club. She 
enjoyed knitting, ceramics, painting, and crafts.
Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. Hewitt, in 1990; grandson, 
Richard Brent Hewitt, in 2002; three brothers; and four sisters.
She is survived by her son, Rick (Bettye) Hewitt; granddaughter, Jana (Nate) Hewitt 
Shepherd; great-grandchildren, Alexus and Becker; sister, Ruth Baker; nieces and 
nephews.
Private Funeral Services will be held.
The family would like to thank the staff at Good Samaritan Home and Heritage 
Hospice for the loving care they provided.
