Doyle Morgan - Altoona 

Services were held Sept. 20 at Altoona United Methodist Church, of which he was a 
member. Burial was at Altoona Cemetery. 

 Doyle Morgan was born in Boone and had lived in Manning before moving to Altoona 
25 years ago. He was a pre-treatment inspector with the city of Des Moines Waste 
Water Treatment Center and a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of 
Elks Lodge in Pleasant Hill and enjoyed camping, golf and family activities. 

 He is survived by his wife, Katie; a son, Michael of Holloman Air Force Base, N.M.; 
two daughters, Mindy Morgan of Des Moines and Stephanie Morgan of Altoona; his 
mother, Viola Morgan of Perry; a brother, Myron of Dallas Center; and a grandchild. 

 Memorial contributions may be made to the Healing Garden at Mercy Medical Center 
in care of Becky Griffith. Altoona Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
