his mother's name is recorded as Rosa Cirino. His brother Luigi's records record her as 
Rosa and as Luisa. It also is unclear if Sabato married a Luisa Cirino or if the record is 
erroneous.
Confusing things is this record:
RODIA Sabato (son of RODIA Giuseppe and CIRINO Rosa) 
    born 1860 in Serino, Italy, died 1910 in Serino, Italy, (age 50y). 
He married CIRINO Giuseppina (daughter of CIRINO Leonardo and RODIA Marianna). 
Children - RODIA Anna, RODIA -----, RODIA Rosa. 
So this could be this Sabato except for the father being Giuseppe and not Pellegrino. 
Are Giuseppe and Pellegrino the same person? Double name?

And making it even more confusing is the "Sam" Rodia who married Angelina Cirino, 
parents of John Rodia (chg to Rodio) of Hammonton, N.J., who named one of their 
children Leon. That suggests Giuseppina is actually Angelina (double name? 
handwriting problem?) They named another child Joseph. But the challenge is this: 
John Rodia born in 1887, but Sabato who married Giuseppina Cirino did so in 1894.
