Philip Franco Sr., a retired insurance agent, died Tuesday. He was 80 and lived in 
South Philadelphia. 

Franco had been an insurance agent for 36 years for the Metropolitan Insurance Co. 
He was a member of St. Nicholas of Tolentine Church. 

He is survived by his wife, the former Elizabeth Rodia; two sons, Philip and Paul; a 
daughter, Elaine Zappacosta; a sister, Catherine Albero; and seven grandchildren. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Nicholas of 
Tolentine Church, 9th and Watkins streets. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery 
Mausoleum, Route 70, Cherry Hill. 

Friends may call between 7 and 9:30 tomorrow night at Carto Funeral Home, 2212-14
