born in 1755 per her death rec.  For the moment I am making his birth year 1779 (age 
60 rather than 80), and leaving wife's birth year as 1755 though I think that, too, is 
wrong.
But now the problem is the age of dtr Antonia reported on her death record (60 or 70, 
with 60 being a bit too low for birth of her oldest child). So 1779 needs to be 1773 at 
the latest.
