Ottaviano De Biase, "I Rodia" (2021) has him as father of Giovanni who married 
Caterina Marranzino. He has him born in 1768, but Giovanni's death record (1844) 
says he is age 82. What I wrote to Ottaviano:
Page 63 under AB-2-2 Giovanni (1768 - 1844) nel 1791 sposa Caterina Marranzini is 
not the son of Giuseppe (1736) and Rosa Vistocco. According to his death record 
(attached) he is the son of Giuseppe Rodia and Rosa Rocco. It does not give the 
names of the parents of this Giuseppe. Is it possible that the informant or clerk gave 
the wrong name, and said/wrote Rosa Rocco instead of Rosa Vistocco? Or is it 
possible that it is the same Giuseppe but he married twice, first to Rosa Rocco (I have 
Giovanni's birth date as 1762 because his 1844 death record says he was age 82 (so 
born 1761/1762)). Or is 82 not his age but a guess? None of Giovanni's children have 
the names of the parents of Giuseppe Rodia and Rosa Vistocco. Another puzzle.
So I moved Giovanni here with a notation about his mother's name on his death 
register entry
There is a Giuseppe Rodia who married a Rosa Vistocco, at about the same time. 
Could Rocco be a misreading of handwriting for Vistocco? No, it clearly says Rocco. 
Clerk or informant error?
