School bus aide, active volunteer Margaret L. Brescia Dix, 75, of Folcroft, a school 
bus aide and volunteer, died July 31 at Delaware County Memorial Hospital. Born in 
Philadelphia, Mrs. Dix delivered food for Meals on Wheels and was a school bus aide 
with for Southeast Delco School District. Mrs. Dix was active with the Schoolhouse 
Senior Citizens Group and was a Girl Scout leader in Folcroft. She was the daughter of 
the late William and Margaret McGill Brescia. Survivors: Husband, William J. Dix; 
sons, Bill Dix of Earlville, Md.; daughter, Marguerite Enderle of Ridley Park; brother, 
William Brescia of Philadelphia; sister, Lucy Duko of Wilmington, Del.; four 
grandchildren. Mass: 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Gabriel Church, Mohawk Avenue, 
Norwood. Visitation: After 9:15 a.m. Tuesday at the Cavanagh Family Funeral Home, 
301 Chester Pike, Norwood. Burial: SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Marple.
