RODIA, PATRICK A., 50, of Palm Harbor, died Thursday (Feb. 20, 1992) of injuries 
sustained in an automobile accident in Odessa. He was born in Chicago and he came 
here in 1987 from Coral Springs. He was a sales manager for Nature's Walk 
Development at Boot Ranch, Palm Harbor. He was a Catholic. Survivors include three 
sons, Patrick M., Carmel, N.Y., Thomas, Upper Darby, Pa., and Michael, Drexel Hill, 
Pa.; two daughters, Carolyn Minnick and Regina Rodia, both of Upper Darby; and four 
grandchildren. Curlew Hills Funeral Home, Palm Harbor.

My guess is that his wife who is the mother of his children is Regina Mount, who then 
married Charles Mahon and was the mother of Charles T. Mahon (died 16 Jan 2021 
age 39), as he is described as being the sibling of the five Rodia children of Patrick 
Rodia.

Charles T. “Chuck” Mahon, age 39, of Drexel Hill, PA, passed away on January 16, 
2021.  Born in Darby, PA, he was the son of Charles and Regina Mahon (nee Mount).

Chuck was a 1997 graduate of Monsignor Bonner High School in Drexel Hill and 
received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from Penn State University in 
December, 2007 where he was on the Dean’s List with a 3.5 GPA.   At the time of his 
passing, he was pursuing his Master’s Degree.

Chuck was a loving son, brother and uncle.  Chuck was a life-long member of St. Cyril 
of Alexandria Church.  He was a kind soul who got along with everyone he met.   He 
had a great devotion to St. Padre Pio.   He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan.

In addition to his parents, Chuck is survived by his siblings Pat Rodia (Lisa), Carolyn 
Minnick (Steve), Tom Rodia (Roseanna), Michael Rodia (Christina) and Regina Choate 
(William).  He was the nephew of Elizabeth Kane, Joan Gormley (Joe), Sr. Marie 
Mount, I.H.M., Margaret Mahon, Helen McAlinden (Jim), Marian McDemott (Jack), 
Sarah Sweeney (Paul), Thomas Mahon (Claire) and the late Pearse Mahon (Teresa).

Chuck is also survived by his nieces and nephews Kristin Minnick Laverty, Carolyn 
Minnick, Steven Minnick, Colleen Lorentson, Jessica Rodia, Alyssa Rodia, Allison 
Rodia, Thomas Machon, Matthew Choate, Kyle Comstock, Ella Rodia, John Busch, 
Samantha Myers, Jessica Busch, Alesha Choate and William Choate, Jr.   Cousin of 
Gareth McAlinden, James McCafferty Thomas McDermott, Meghan McDermott, Jack 
McDermott, Jr. and many other cousins.

Services and interment are private.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Chuck’s memory to Camilla Hall, 100 Maxis Drive, 
Malvern, PA 19355 would be appreciated.
