Mr. Albert L. Ingeno, 90, a lifelong resident of Rockland died Sunday, August 29, 
2010 at the South Shore Rehab and Skilled Care Center in Rockland. A son of the 
late Carmen and Maria (Amarosa) Ingeno, he was born in Rockland on June 8, 1920. 
Mr. Ingeno was raised and educated in Rockland and would have graduated in 1937, 
but Al joined the Army and served during World War II. He saw action in Rhineland 
and Central Europe and was discharge in 1946 as a Sergeant. It was a proud day 
when he received his high school diploma alongside his granddaughter in 2000. An 
electrician by trade, Al had worked at the Fore River Shipyard, the Fisher Pierce 
Company and at Polaroid. He was a member of the American Legion, Rockland Lions, 
Whitman VFW, Hanson AA, Rockland Conservation Commission and was an active 
member at Holy Family Church. Husband of the late Dorethea (Reynolds) Ingeno, he is 
survived by one son, Robert A. Ingeno and his wife Cynthia of Abington; three 
grandchildren, Niccole Ingeno, Paul Anthony Ingeno and Matthew James Ingeno. Also 
survived by his former daughter in law Sheryl Ingeno of Rockland and two step-sons 
Richard and Alan Meister and families. He was the brother of the late Robert Ingeno, 
Lena Chiminello, Mary Chiminello, Jennie Roberts, Grace Morehouse and Rose 
Chiminello. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 45 East Water St. in 
ROCKLAND on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on 
Thursday at 9 a.m. in Holy Family Church, 403 Union St. in Rockland. Interment in
