Yolanda V. Scala a Grayslake resident Yolanda V. Scala, 90, passed away at her 
home Thursday morning, June 9, 2011. Yolanda was born in Chicago, Aug. 31, 1920, 
to the now late Frank and Antonette Rodia. Yolanda was the loving mother of Tony 
(Bonnie) Scala and Mary Ann Scala; beloved grandmother of Tony (Kathy) Scala; and 
the cherished great-grandmother of Christopher Scala. Her husband, Sam Scala; and 
seven brothers and sisters, preceded her in death. Friends of the family may visit on 
Monday, June 13, at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 410 E. Belvidere Road, 
Grayslake, from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m., with the funeral service commencing at 
11:30 a.m. Entombment will follow in All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines, reconvening 
at the mausoleum at 1:30 p.m.
