DAMIANO, DANIEL - 87, of Elm, NJ passed away Sunday June 8, 2014 at the Virtua 
Hosp. in Berlin, NJ. Born in Rosedale he lived in Elm most of his life. Mr. Damiano 
retired in 1993 as a cook at Ancora State Hospital. He was a US Army Air Force 
veteran of WWII and member of the former Elm Ameri-can Legion Post, a charter 
member of the Elm Volunteer Fire Co. and 3rd Degree Knights of Columbus Shanes 
Castle Council of Waterford, NJ. Dan was an active parishioner of St. Joseph RC 
church and a member of the Holy Name Society and worked at the annual July 16 Our 
Lady of Mt. Carmel Festival for many years. Dan was a licensed pilot and Ham radio 
enthusiast, and other hobbies included hunting, cake baking and decorating and he 
loved to ride his motorcycle. Surviving are his beloved wife of 58 years Angelina (nee 
Montresor) 3 daughters Joan Ward (Matthew) of Brigantine, Janet Esposito (Ken) of 
Hammonton, Lori Merkel (Jeff) of Coatesville, Pa. 3 sons Donald (Karen) of Mays 
Landing, David (Debbie) and Joseph of Elm. 4 grandchildren, 3 stepgrandchildren. 1 
brother Frank (Doris) of Atco. 2 sisters Marie Nye of Weymouth, Florence Parry (Jim) of 
Waldorf, Md. A viewing will be held Wed. June 11, 2014 from 7-9 PM and Thurs. June 
12, 2014 1030 -11 AM at the Landolfi Funeral Home 237 Bellevue Ave. Hammonton. A 
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thurs. June 12, 2014 1130 AM at the St. 
Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish -St. Joseph Church 3rd & French Sts. Hammonton. Interment 
with Military Honors will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Hammonton. In lieu of 
flowers the family request memorial donations to Winslow Twp. EMS P.O. Box 3,
