Harry N. Pepe D.O.
Dr. Pepe passed away comfortably on Friday June 26th at the age of 86. He is 
survived by his wife, Jewel Bailey, Son';s Bill and Harry III, M.D., daughter Lucille 
Scaglione, and stepdaughter Sharon Nordquist. grandchildren Danielle Paul, Christina 
Costa, Lucia Scaglione, Vince Scaglione, Tony Scaglione, Harry Pepe IV, Patrick 
Pepe, Anthony Pepe, Vanessa Schultz, and Taylor Nordquist. Great grandchildren Ava 
Paul and James Paul, III. Dr. Pepe began his medical practice on Miramar Parkway in 
1959 after graduating from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He built a 
thriving practice that continues on today as his legacy. In over fifty years as a 
practicing physician he touched many lives and helped countless thousands of his 
patients. His reputation as a compassionate, caring, and capable physician was well 
deserved. Respected by his peers, admired by his friends, lovey by his family and 
devoutly followed by his patients. Dr. Pepe was an avid fisherman, amateur Jai-Ali 
player, decorated Korean War Veteran and Traditional Tae Kwon-Do expert. He 
trained under Grand Master Kwon, Jae-Hwa for many years. He obtained his 5th 
degree Black Belt at the age of 65. As a devoted follower of Traditional Tae Kwon-Do, 
he was ahead of his time in advocating a healthy diet and vigorous regular exercise. 
All his children went on to earn their own Black Belts of various ranks. Harry III is a 
practicing physician in Seattle. Dr. Pepe earned a Combat Infantry Badge and a 
Bronze Star for his efforts during the Korean War. He lived his life with class, style 
and swagger. He worked harder than most but always had time to ";smell the roses"; 
along life';s journey. He was a friend to many, a mentor to a lucky few, and an 
example to all. His family is very proud of his accomplishments and honored to have 
been a part of his life Services will be heal at Hands of Life Worship Center, 6248 
Miramar Parkway, Miramar, Florida (the former site of his office) on Saturday August 
8th, at 2:00 PM.
