BAVARO Pasqualina (nee Di Zuzio), 102, of Paterson died Wednesday. Born in in 
Serino, Italy, Mrs. Bavaro came to the United States as a young child. She lived in 
Paterson for most of her life before moving to Cedar Grove.

Before her retirement, she was employed at various mills in the Paterson Silk Industry. 
She was a parishioner of St. Brendan's R.C. Church, Clifton and a member of the 
International Ladies Garment Workers Union of New York City. Mrs. Bavaro was 
predeceased by her husband, Pasquale, in 1991; by her son, Stanley Bavaro in 2007; 
by her daughter, Carmella Novelle in 2010; by her grandson and other brothers and 
sisters. Survivors include: her son, Daniel Bavaro and his wife, Adelaide of Green 
Acres, her sister, Carmella Pagliarulo of Italy; her six surviving grandchildren, five 
greatgrandchildren and one great great-grandchild. Private services were held by the 
family under the supervision of Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 515 Lexington Clifton.
