Ann Ennis Ann Ennis, age 94, long time Everett resident, passed away peacefully on 
February 18, 2007. Ann was born on September 20, 1912, to Rose and Joe Kiichli, in 
Glendive, Montana. Ann grew up in Seattle, Washington, and graduated from Queen 
Anne High school in 1929, where besides being an outstanding student she played 
forward for the Queen Anne basketball team. Ann met and married Jim Ennis and 
together they raised five children. Ann was a loving mother, friend, and sister. She 
was devoted to her family. She loved to travel, collected antique dolls, and spent 
every summer at the family beach home on Camano Island. Ann was true lady in every 
sense of the word. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Jim Ennis; 
son, Jim Ennis Jr.; daughter, Rosanne Mullen; and brother, Clarence Kiichli. Ann will 
be greatly missed by her surviving family members, daughter, Toni Slater; son Terry 
(Fran) Ennis; daughter, Molly (Rick) Stubrud; sister-in-law, Josie Winnett; 13 
grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff at 
Heritage Court for the wonderful care they gave mom the last couple of years, and to 
Joyce and Lawrence Stubrud for the friendship and care they provided. A memorial 
mass will be held at 10 a.m., March 9, 2007, at Immaculate Conception Church, 2501 
Hoyt, Everett, with a reception to follow at the church.
