Note: Several sources state that William II fitz Neel, son of William I fitz Neel, died 
without issue. However the existence of Leucha fitz Neel seems to be fairly new, 
being a correction to both Ancestral Roots and Magna Charta Sureties. AR indicates 
Leucha was, perhaps a daughter of William fitz Neel, while she doesn't fit into any of 
the inheritance schemes for William. She certainly fits date-wise as daughter of 
William II fitz Neel. Perhaps she was illegitimate. She could also be a very late 
daughter of William I fitz Neel.

NOTE: Chris Phillips, in a post to SGM 19 Jan 2003 based on Keats-Rohan's 
'Domesday Descendants', names him "William FitzWilliam, Constable of Chester." I 
don't know if he was known as FitzNeel or FitzWilliam by his contemporaries.
