I recently received this from Wayne Davy, in an e-mail, date 10 Oct 2005:

I recently got a cc of the book "History of the Goths" by Herwig Wolfram (first 
published in germany 1979)
He has a genealogical chart for the Amali's. It is different from the postings in that it 
shows Amfleda (she married Thrasamund) is a sister of Theodoric instead of being a 
daughter. Theodoric's daughters are listed as follows:
Thiudigotho married Alaric II and begot Amalaric
Ostrogotho married Sigismund (a Burgundian king)
Amalasuintha married Eutharic and begot Athalaric
also, begot Matasuntha who married 1st Vitigis and then Germanus (cousin of 
Justinian)

do you think he is authorative enough to warrant making these changes?

NOTE: I replied that I certainly agreed with the line, as it makes many of the estimated 
birth dates between Amfleda and Halfdan, son of Frodi and Hildis/Hilda, much easier.
