Walter d'Eyncourt, 3rd baron, who, with his son Oliver, fought on the side of King 
Stephen in the battle of Lincoln, 1141, and he appears, on his son's death 
subsequently, to have given lands to Walter, a priest, who had saved his son from 
captivity and death in that battle, to pray for his soul. Walter was s. by his other son,
