Sir GERARD BRAYBROOKE, Kt., M.P., of Colmworth, Beds. & Horsenden, Bucks., M 
Isabel, d. of Sir Reginald Hampden, Kt., of Great Hampden, Bucks., & his wife 
Nichola, d. of John de Grenville, of Wotton, Bucks. (See HAMPDEN). Member of 
Parliament for Bedfordshire. He fought at the Battle of Crecy in the Black Prince's 
Division, 1346. Died 17 March 1359. He had issue: HoP, 1386-1421, II, pp 343-4 
Clutterbuck, III, p 58.

Note: According to Douglas Richardson, Gerard m. (presumably 2nd) Isabel Dakeney 
and had a son Robert, Bishop of London, d. 27 Aug 1404.
