Records:  earliest reference to John: 15 November 1689, witness to dead executed by 
his parents (John is probably about age 16); 24 April 1694:  John receives  grant of 
one half of father's purchase right from his father Caleb (John probably about age 21);  
6 February 1695:  deed John Leverich to his "well respected uncle" Benjamin Cornish; 
 4 May 1705:  Caleb Leverich granted land to widow Hannah Leverich and her 
children (named), the heirs of Caleb's deceased son John
