Note: Robert E Lee is descended from Lucy Grymes, who md Henry Lee in 1753. She 
is daughter of brother of ELizabeth (I think)
One web site claims John is son of Rev. Charles Grymes who came to Va. from 
England and that John md Alice Townley. Problem is that we know John married Ann 
___. Also, his dtr married the son of another Cromwell general, Ludwell. These sites 
claim John (of Brandon) was brother of Charles of Aloratico (Charles being son of Rev. 
Charles). But, also, Sir Thomas Grymes of Peckham had a son William living in Va in 
1694.
