He also had a son Robert, Privy Councillor in 1485, commander in the Battle of Stoke, 
who in turn had a son George who married Catherine Vaux, dtr of Nicholas Vaux. 
Thomas Cromwell wanted George's lands, so had him imprisoned, but his wife's niece, 
Queen Catherine Parr, had him released, and after Cromwell's fall, George found 
preferment at court for his three sons. George's son Nicholas, implicated in Wyat's 
conspiracy, imprisoned, acquitted, had a library at Weston Underwood in 
Buckinghamshire (where our branch of the Throckmorton's lived), and was buried in 
London.
