He [John de Willoughby] married, before 2 July 1323, Joan, sister and coheir of 
Thomas ROSCELYN, daughter of Peter ROSCELYN, of Edgefield, Norfolk. He died 13 
June 1349, aged 45, and was buried at Spilsby, Lincs. His widow married, before 24 
June 1351, William DE SYNYTHWAYT (? SWINITHWAITE). She was living, 15
