other entries it is VERDERAME. The names and ages of the parents fit, it's not a 
different couple (nor is there anyone else in the database who fits). So why the 
different surname? Did they change their name? It's a mystery.
In Serino, Italy, 1884 Birth Register, Part II, antenati.com there is an entry explaining 
that his father is Domenico Verderame and not Domenico Ravallese. Mystery solved: 
someone made an error in the original report.
