ASH Mr. James Lash, Sr., age 81, formerly of Norwalk, beloved husband of 54 years 
to the late Viola E. Rodia Lash, died on Thursday, April 29, 2004, in Sun City Center, 
Fla. Son of the late James Joseph and Margaret Nichols Lash, he was born on July 15, 
1922, in Norwalk. He was formerly a resident of Norwalk for 30 years where he was a 
business owner. Mr. Lash was a World War II veteran and Purple Heart recipient and 
had a great passion for golf. Devoted father of James W. Lash, Jr. and his wife, 
Annette, of Milford and Douglas R. Lash and his wife, Ana, of Monroe, he also leaves 
a sister, Kathleen Lehn, of Westport; a brother, Norman Lash, of Nevada; his 
grandchildren, James, Tricia, and Kristin Lash, Karen Haverl and three great 
grandchildren. He was predeceased by his beloved brother, Francis and his beloved 
grandson, Michael. Memorial Services were held in Florida and will be held privately in 
Connecticut. Arrangements in care of The Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad 
Street on the Green, Milford.
