MAULE, EDNA MAE PATTERSON SCARBROUGH - age 83, of Knoxville, died 10:00 
p.m. Saturday, March 16, 2002, at U. T. Medical Center. Member of Calvary Baptist 
Tabernacle. Preceded in death by husbands, Amos Scarbrough and Thomas Maule; 
son, Edward Scarbrough; four brothers and one sister. Survivors: daughter and son-
in-law, Ann and Jack Williams of Knoxville,; step daughter and husband, Juanita and 
Sam Haywood of Sumter, S.C.; sister, Polly Perrell of Bear Creek, N.C.; brother and 
sister-in-law, Paul and Faye Patterson of Knoxville, and several nieces and nephews. 
Special friends, Don and Bobbi Wooten. Family and friends will meet 1:45 p.m. 
Tuesday at Greenwood Cemetery for a 2:00 p.m. graveside service and interment with 
Pastor Allen Johnson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the 
Calvary Baptist Tabernacle Building Fund, 6922 Seavers Rd., Knoxville, TN 37909.
