ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - William G. Griffin, 94, died Dec. 11, 2005, at home. He was 
born in Norfolk and moved to St. Petersburg in 1997 from Sun City Center, Fla. He 
worked as a safety engineer for the U.S. Dept. of Labor in Washington, D.C. He was a 
veteran of the Navy, having served as lieutenant in World War II. He was of the 
Methodist faith. 

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Jacqueline and Philip Freeman of 
Largo, Fla.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
