after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was 83. Viewing will be at 10 a.m. 
ending with a funeral at 11 a.m. Friday, March 25, 2011, in West Linn Lutheran 
Church. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. in Willamette National Cemetery. George is 
survived by his wife, Elsie; sons, Glen of Eugene, Ron of Sherwood and Craig of 
Charlotte, N.C.; stepson, Ron Petersen of Portland; five grandchildren; and two 
great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American 
Diabetes Association. Arrangements by Autumn Funerals, Cremation & Burial.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. March 25 at West Linn Lutheran Church for 
George M. Brigham of West Linn, formerly of Lane County, who died March 4 of 
cancer. He was 83. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. at the church. 

He was born April 2, 1927, in Portland to George and Lorene Martin Brigham. He 
married Elsie Petersen on June 10, 1967, in Portland. 

He served in the Army and worked as a manager for the telephone company. 

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Glen of Eugene, Ron of Sherwood and Craig of 
Charlotte, N.C.; a stepson, Ron Petersen of Portland; five grandchildren; and two 
great-grandchildren. 

Burial will be at 2 p.m. March 25 at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland.
