1981 book:
James kept a store in Pennsville, Morgan Co., Ohio, for his father. While there he 
undoubtedly came to know Edward Maule (1EE43), his second cousin; it is rather 
certain that the families of Jacob Maule (1E8) and Lewis Maule (1EE) had lost touch 
with each other. In the Stratton-Maule Papers, held by Friends Library, Swarthmore, 
Pa., there are preserved letters written by Edward and his daughter to James' father 
about loan transactions that took place in Pennsville.
